I'll guide you through the session so you don't have to worry about what to do in front of the camera, while leaving plenty of room for things to happen naturally.

A $55 non-refundable retainer secures your date and is applied toward your package. The remaining balance is due within 24 hours of your session.
Location Guidance
Your session is planned around you. We'll choose a location in and around Okotoks based on your vision, your family's needs, accessibility, & distance.
Gallery Upgrade
Want more? No matter which session you book, you’ll have the option to either purchase individual images for $10 each or your entire gallery of photographs for an additional $150.
The Experience

Choose Your Session
Select the session that fits your family and head to the booking page. From there, you'll complete a short questionnaire, choose a date and time that works for you from my availability, pay the $55 retainer, and sign your agreement.
STEP 02
Plan Your Session
Once you're booked, we'll work together to choose a location in or around Okotoks that fits your family, your vision, and the feel you're looking for.
STEP 03
See Your Photographs
Within 3 weeks, you'll receive your professionally edited images in a private online gallery, ready to download, share, and enjoy.
Frequently Asked Questions
What should we wear?
I always recommend choosing clothing that feels like you and works with the location and season we're photographing in. Neutrals, earthy tones and softer colours tend to photograph beautifully and keep the focus on you. I recommend avoiding heavy patterns, large logos and logo-heavy clothing, as they can be distracting in photographs.
Once we book your session, we'll talk through outfits and I'll help you put everything together.
What if the weather is bad or if we are sick?
Weather: Since most of my sessions take place outdoors, I keep a close eye on the forecast leading up to your session. If the weather isn't suitable for photographs, we'll work together to reschedule your session.
Sickness / Emergencies: Life happens. If you or someone in your family is sick or something unexpected comes up, let me know as soon as you’re able, and we’ll find another date that works.
There’s no additional fee to reschedule your session as long as it's within the next 3 months.
Can I use the photographs for social media and marketing?
Families & Couples: Absolutely! Your session includes personal usage rights, so you’re welcome to share your photographs on social media, print them for yourself, and share them with friends and family.
Branding: Your branding session includes commercial usage rights, so you’re welcome to use your photographs on your website, social media, email marketing and other materials used to promote your business.
A tag or shoutout is always appreciated, but there’s absolutely no obligation. ❤️
How do we choose a date and time?
These sessions are scheduled around your family's availability, rather than set mini-session time slots. Tell me what days and times generally work for you when you inquire, and we'll find a time that works.
What if my kids don't cooperate?
Kids are kids. If someone needs a break, we take a break. If they need to move around, we move around. I don't expect little ones to behave perfectly for a camera, and I won't turn the session into a battle to make them do it.
I'll work with what they're giving us and keep things moving so we can capture the connection, personality and little moments that make your family yours.
Where do sessions take place?
I love using beautiful outdoor locations to add to the story of your photographs. Once I know a little more about you and what you're looking for, I'll help you choose a location in and around Okotoks that fits your session, the season and the kind of photographs you want to create.
I offer in-home sessions for families and individuals who would prefer a more personal setting. We can use the spaces you already love and the little details that make your home yours.
How far in advance should I book?
I recommend booking at least two weeks in advance, especially if you have a specific date or location in mind. That said, if you're planning something last minute, reach out anyway. I'll always do my best to make it work if my schedule allows.
When will I receive my photographs?
Your gallery will be delivered within 3 weeks of your session. If you need your photographs sooner, rush delivery may be available with enough advance notice, depending on my schedule and availability. Just let me know when you inquire, and I'll do my best to accommodate your timeline.
Will you share our photographs on your website or social media?
I genuinely believe that people and their stories are beautiful, and I take great pride in sharing the people I photograph as part of my portfolio. Everyone has a place in my brand, and I love being able to show the variety of people, personalities and stories I get to photograph.
If you prefer not to have your images shared publicly, I'm absolutely happy to honour that. Just let me know before we sign the contract, so I can make sure the appropriate usage agreement is included.
Can we bring our dog?
Absolutely! If your dog is part of your family or your story, I'm happy to include them. Just let me know ahead of time so we can choose a location that works well for everyone.
How many people can we include?
Moments and Chapter are designed for immediate families. If you'd like to include extended family or a larger group, just mention it in your inquiry so we can figure out the best option.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my session?
Reschedule: If you need to reschedule, I'll do my best to find another date that works for both of us.
Cancellation: I completely understand that sometimes plans change. While I’d be sad to see your session go, I’ll always respect your decision. Please let me know as soon as you’re able.
The $55 non-refundable retainer will remain non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
