For example, my website and photography galleries may be hosted through Pixieset, and inquiries may be submitted through advertising platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram).

Alberta's PIPA specifically includes notice requirements when organizations use service providers outside Canada.
Third-party providers are responsible for their own privacy practices, policies, and security procedures.
5. Meta Lead Forms and Advertising
If you submit your information through a Di Ann Photography advertisement on Facebook or Instagram, your name and email address may be collected through a Meta lead form and provided to Di Ann Photography so that I can respond to your inquiry.
I use this information to contact you regarding the photography service or promotion you expressed interest in.
Submitting an inquiry does not automatically subscribe you to unrelated marketing communications.
6. How I Protect Your Information
I take reasonable steps to protect the personal information I hold against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, copying, modification, loss, or destruction.
